RAWALPINDI: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif reached Rawalpindi in the evening and inquired after the students of Faisalabad School who were injured in a bus accident at Kalar Kahar, at District Headquarters Hospital(DHH).
He directed the district administration to utilize all resources for the treatment of the injured.
Medical Superintendent of the hospital and concerned doctors briefed the Chief Minister about the condition of the injured students.
Talking to media on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the whole nation is grieved over the bus accident.
He said that a committee has already been formed to inquire into the matter and action will be taken if any one was found responsible.
Replying to a question, he said that legislation will be carried out if found necessary for checking such accidents.
He said that he equally shared the grief of the families of students and teachers and will go to Faisalabad to offer condolences as well as sympathize with the families of those who have been injured.
