Aisam-Bopanna lose in Japan Open

TOKYO: Pakistan tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna were defeated in the first round of Japan Open Tennis, Geo News reported.

Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi were top seeded in the doubles and they open against Brazilian pair of Marcelo Melo and Bruno Soares.

The Brazilian pair upset Aisam and Rohan by defeating them with 6-4 and 6-3.

Following the defeat, the pair has gone out of the event.
