HPC moot slams firing on ex-chief’s car

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Press Club called a general body meeting on Saturday to condemn the incident of firing on former President Mahesh Kumar's car the other day.

The meeting was presided over by the Club's President Jaffar Memon while senior journalists including Ali Hassan, Azizullah Malik, Lala Rehman Samo, Khalid Khokhar, Mahesh Kumar, Muhammad Shahid Shaikh, Muhammad Hussain Khan and Altaf Koti attended.

The meeting condemned the incident and strongly demanded the
arrest of the involved culprits.

Later, the members of the Club led by Jaffar Memon protested outside
the Press Club and raised slogans calling for a safe working environment to the journalists. (APP)
