Mirza resignation accepted: Khuhro

KARACHI: Speaker of the Sindh Assembly Nisar Khuhro has said that resignation of Zulfiqar Mirza has been received and accepted too, Geo News reported.

Prior to approving the resignation, Khuhro said he had spoken to Mirza and that he had informed the Governor and Chief Minister about the resignation.

On Saturday while speaking to Geo News Khuhro had said that he had not received Mirza’s hand-written resignation from the post of MPA Sindh Assembly.

Zulfiqar Mirza on August 28, 2011 had announced that he was resigning from all party and government posts.
