LAHORE: Four more Dengue patients lost their lives in Lahore Wednesday, Geo News reported. The total number of casualties by the virus now stands at 188 in Lahore while 209 in Punjab.
In the past 24 hours, 350 Dengue cases were reported in the province increasing the number of patients to 15,783.
Currently, 1,359 are being treated for the virus in different hospitals in Punjab while 15,514 patients have recovered so far.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif said that resources are being provided for basic care system in order to curb Dengue whereas the awareness seminars in educational institutions are yielding results.
