According to details, the ACE received a complaint against Zulfiqar of Chak No.181-JB (Jhang) that he was performing duties as secretary CCB Mueenabad. He made embezzlement of Rs 200,000 in official funds while these allegations were also proved true in an audit report.
Hence, Circle Officer Anti Corruption Establishment Mazhar Farooq conducted a raid and arrested secretary Zulfiqar.
Meanwhile, the anti corruption officers also conducted raids in Chak No.484-JB and 485-JB and arrested Muhammad Iqbal, chairman CCB
Jhang and Abdul Qudoos Jahangir, secretary CCB Khushhal Khan on charge of misappropriating Rs 547,960. (APP)
