Liaquat Varsity's symposium on child health on Oct 24

HYDERABAD: The Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro has finalised the arrangements for a Symposium on "child and mother health" at Latif Hall, Jamshoro Campus on October 24.

Eminent child specialist of LUMHS Professor Dr. Salma Shaikh announced here on Saturday at Press Club Hyderabad.

Dr. Salma Shaikh informed that aim of the seminar is to create awareness about care for the newborn baby and the mother.

She said that children are sensitive in nature which is a major cause of their early contracting of any disease.

She said that eminent health professionals, specialists, doctors from across the country would participate in the Symposium.

She informed that Vice Chancellor of LUMHS Professor Dr. Noshad A. Shaikh will be the chief guest on the occasion.

She urged the media to contribute to spread of information on child health among the masses.
