KU restores Honours, Masters degree programme

KARACHI: The Academic Council of Karachi University has restored the Honours and Masters programmes at the institution.

An announcement to this effect was made by an official of Karachi University. He said that a decision in this regard was taken at the meeting of the Academic Council held at the campus on Friday.

Vice-Chancellor KU Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, presided over the meeting.

Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Studies (BS) programme at Karachi University will also continue. The BS Programme would now be of 126 credit hours instead of 136 credit hours and four additional subjects have been removed from the BS Programme.

Honours programme as usual would consist of three years and that of Masters of two years. (APP)
