Zareena Baloch's death anniversary observed

HYDERABAD: Writers, intellectuals and playwrights observed 6th death anniversary of famous late folk singer, writer, teacher and political worker Zareena Baloch in simple manner following the death of Begum Nusrat Bhutto here on Tuesday.

In Hyderabad, noted intellectual and Awami Tehrik chief Rasool Bux Palijo presided over the 6th death anniversary at Awami House in Qasimabad.

Rasool bux Palejo said Jiji Zarina had led the struggle during One Unit days. Jiji infused new spirit in Sindhis and reawakened them with her revolutionary songs, he said.
