Gold rates up Rs350 per tola on Dec 31

KARACHI: A single tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan is being sold at Rs114,000 on Thursday, December 31, at the closing of the bullion market.

Likewise, 10 grams of 24k gold was sold at Rs97,737 at the closing of trading.

Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22k gold was traded for Rs89,592 with one tola of 22k gold was being traded at Rs104,498 at the closing of the trading.

In the international market, bullion rates increased by $14 to $1,894/ounce on Wednesday.

Earlier, jewellers had said the prices in the local market remained Rs3,000/tola lower, compared with the rates in the Dubai gold market.

However, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,320/tola. The price of 10 grams of silver also stood the same at Rs1,131.68.
