RAWALPINDI: Rawal Town Municipal Administration has completely banned the entry of sacrficial animal in a bid to keep the city neat and clean on the auspicious ocassion of Eid-ul-Azha.

Administrator Rawal Town, Assistant Commissioners Saif Anwar Jappa has imposed section 144 in the jurisdiction of Rawal Town for the sale of sacrifical animal, said a press release issued here on Friday.

Rawal Town administration has allocated eight points including Cricket Stadium Road, Said Pur Road, Pindora, Pirwadhi Road, Khyban-e-Sir Syed, Khanna Road, Behari Colony, Marir Hassan, Rata Amral and Railway Workshop Road to stop the movement of sacrificial animal.

Town Municipal Officer Mian Akram will supervise the operation while Town Officer Regulation Aftab Chohan would impose fine to the violators.

The Administrator Rawal Town said that the action will be taken who violate rule of law besides their animals will be confiscated without
any discrimination.

City District Government Rawalpindi specified three places in and around the city to establish temporary cattle markets for Eidul Azha.

However, the people prefer to go to the cattle markets established within the city to save the transportation charges. (APP)
