Gold falls Rs550 per tola on January 23

• A single tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan was sold for Rs113,550 
  
• 10 grams of 24k gold was sold for Rs97,180
  
• 10 grams of 22k gold was traded for Rs89,081
  

KARACHI: A single tola of 24-karat gold in Pakistan was sold for Rs113,550 on Friday, January 22, at the closing of the bullion market.

Likewise, 10 grams of 24k gold was sold for Rs97,180 at the closing of trading.

Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22k gold was traded for Rs89,081, while one tola of 22k gold was traded for Rs103,903.

On Thursday, the gold rates in the local market rose Rs400/tola to reach its current price of Rs113,400/tola, said the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association on Thursday.

Jewellers claimed prices in the local market remained Rs1,000/tola lower, compared with the rates in the Dubai gold market.
