LAHORE: Bulk import of Indian vegetables en-route Wagah border continues, as 87 trucks of fully loaded vegetables arrived Pakistan Tuesday also, Geo News reported.
Custom officials at the Wagah border said that the imported vegetables generally include onion, tomato, green chilly, Shimla mirch and soybean. Largest arrivals of tomato and soybean are from India.
Officials said that the import of onion and tomato has gathered speed since last two weeks and this process would continue in future also.
