Man immolates wife over domestic issue

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A man sprinkled his wife with kerosene and burnt her over a domestic issue, Geo News reported Wednesday. Police has not yet registered a case against the culprit.

According to victim's mother, her daughter Fozia and son-in-law Zeeshan used to quarrel frequently but on Tuesday night, Zeeshan set his wife alight with the help of his mother and sisters.

Later, the culprit fled after leaving Fozia at Sheikh Zayed Hospital in critical condition.

According to hospital sources, the victim has received 40% burn injuries. Police said that the case would be registered after getting the request from any of the victim's family members.
