KARACHI: Rangers on Tuesday carried out a controlled explosion in a bid to scrap explosives recovered from Orangi Town earlier.
The explosives were detonated in Manghopir area and its bang was so loud that it was heard far and wide.
People in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town, Sohrab Goth and North Nazimabad heard the blast.
Earlier, police in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town jumped to action and sent their patrols in different directions to determine the site of the blast.
