It is national duty to defeat schemers: Nawaz

LAHORE: President Pakistan Muslim League-N Nawaz Sharif Friday said it was his national duty to defeat those 'playing a covert game', Geo News reported.

Talking to PML-N's overseas delegation here at Raiwind, Nawaz Sharif regretted that it was the same kind of adventurisms that led to the break up of country in the past.

He said the people all too well as to who was speaking whose language, adding 'they also have eyes and ears'.

"Now no (covert) move can deviate Pakistan people from the path of its destination," he vowed. He said now no one would allow any opportunity to a corrupt and unscrupulous mafia to impose itself on Pakistan.

The PML-N President said no one was playing a musical chair, adding only those would have the right to serve the people who receives people's mandate.
