Man held over cyber crimes

HYDERABAD: Crime Investigation Cell (CIC) of Hyderabad Police has arrested a suspect, Ashraf alias Rahul Sharma, who was allegedly involved in the cyber crimes.

According to the police spokesman Mazhar Shani, the suspect used to hack the people's bank accounts and credit cards by impersonating as a bank employee.

"He trap people by informing that they had won cash prizes so that he could elicit their bank account and credit card details," he added.

According to the spokesman, the suspect used the specific service codes of the companies and banks while calling their consumers.

The police is further interrogating the suspect. (APP)
