FAISALABAD: Eight police officials including in-charge of a police post were booked on charges of misconduct and misbehave with the females in the limits of Sitiana Police Station.
According to details, an 8-member police party headed by Naeem Adil in-charge Rodala Road Jhok Ditta police post forced their entry into the house of a farmer Jahangir in Chak No 282-GB and maltreated and misbehaved with women under the garb of arrest some criminals.
Jahangir complained at Sitiana police station about the incident but Sitiana police did not take any action against their colleagues. After it he filed a petition before the court which issued orders for registration of a case against the accused.
On court order, Sitiana police registered a case against 8 police officials including in-charge police post Rodala Road and started investigation. (APP)
