Punjab University stops in-campus education till March 28

Punjab University on Wednesday has announced the closure of in-campus education till March 28 after the government decided to tighten the restrictions in order to curb the virus.

The varsity issued the notification in this regard, stating that the university will remain closed for physical attendance of the students from March 15 to March 28.

“All the on-campus scheduled examinations shall have remained postponed or may be given the option of online mode,” the notification added.

For the hostellers, Punjab University said that the students will have to evacuate the hostels except for international students.

It also advised ensuring strict observance of the COVID-19 Sops, health and safety protocols example thermal scanning, wearing of face masks, social distancing, availability and regular use of hand sanitisers, and disinfection of buildings.
