BTS Jimin recently sat down for a candid chat on tvN’s You Quiz On The Block episode and shed light on his most grueling trainee days.

On the show’s 99th episode, Jimin was quoted saying, “At that time, I didn’t live in the dorms as a BTS member. I had come up from Busan and I didn’t have a place to stay so I came to live in the dorms.”

“Not knowing what I should do was the hardest thing for me. Whenever V or Jungkook had vocal lessons, I asked if I could watch. I would tune in to the lesson and later practice what I learned late at night. I would practice until about 4 AM and wake up around 6:30 to go to school. It wasn’t hard for me back then.

“I would call my father once every month and I would always tell him that I might not make it so just don’t be disappointed in me. Even if I fail here I will make it somehow.

“I endured all these hardships and continued to practice hard in order to be a part of the team all because of the members. We are all equally lacking and we are all the same people, but we can do it if we are together.”
