DUBAI: After openers Mohammad Hafeez and Imran Farhat gave a solid start, scoring 151 runs, Pakistan lost eight wickets for 106 runs and set a target of 258 runs for Sri Lanka in the third One-day International, played here at the Dubai International cricket Stadium on Friday.

Hafeez made 83, his 12th ODI fifty, and his partner Imran scored 70, his tenth half-century in ODI cricket.

Hafeez hit nine fours and a six during his 101-ball stay at the crease while Imran faced 82 balls and smashed six boundaries and a six.

Among others, Younis Khan (42) was the only significant contributor.
