Pindi nurses show solidarity with Lhr sisters

RAWALPINDI: Nurses, working in different hospitals, on Friday held a protest demonstration to show solidarity with their colleagues in Lahore.

They blocked the city's main road for over an hour and demanded action against those who misbehaved with the nurses.

The Allied Hospitals including Holy Family Hospital (HFH), Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) and District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) nurses gathered here and resolved the protest will continue till their demands are met.

Protesting nurses said that Punjab government had promised increase in their salaries but failed to honour the commitment.(APP)
