Gas leak explosion injures 4

RAWALPINDI: An explosion sent at least four persons to the hospital on Friday which was caused by a Sui Gas leak inside a hotel room near Faizabad.

According to duty officer Rescue 1122, the gas explosion in room no 108 of Crown City Hotel near Faizabad was reported here today morning.

On receiving the information, Rescue 1122 vehicles rushed to the spot and started relief and rescue operation. The explosion severely injured four persons including one hotel servant.

The victims identified as Qaiser son of Orangzeb (27), Qaiser s/o Aziz-ur-Rehman (28), Zeeshan s/o Waleed (27) and a hotel servant Israr s/o Ishaq (25) were immediately shifted to Benazir Bhutto Hospital (BBH) while the condition of three is stated to be critical. (APP)
