15 yellow cab applicants docs found fake

MULTAN: The educational certificates of 15 applicants of chief minister's yellow cab scheme have turned out to be bogus in Multan, officials said on Friday.

EDO education Afzal Javed told APP that his office was assigned the task for checking the educational certificates of all the 1,082 yellow cab scheme applicants of Multan district.

Certificates of 981 applicants have been checked till Nov 15 and fifteen of them were found bogus.

He said that a report had been sent to the office of DCO with recommendations of registration of FIRs against these applicants.

The process of checking of remaining applicants was in progress, he added. (APP)
