Varsity bodies elections on Dec 15

HYDERABAD: The elections of the Senate and Academic Council of University of Sindh Jamshoro will be held on December 15.

The Registrar University of Sindh informed here on Friday that 12 representatives amongst university teachers would be elected for Senate while two Associate professors and four Assistant Professors and Lecturers will be elected for Academic Council of University of Sindh.

He informed that the last date for the withdrawal of nomination papers
by candidates of both categories has been fixed as December 5, 2011 and the final list of the contesting candidates for Senate will be announced the same day while the list of the contesting candidates for Academic Council will be displayed on December 9. (APP)
