FUUAST nominates new members on academic council seats

Karachi: The Committee of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) has unanimously nominated six new teachers on the vacant seats of Academic Council in a meeting held on Tuesday presided over by the chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaisor.

The nominated teachers are Dr. Naheed Ibrar, Dr. Tanvir Fatma, Dr. Abdul Jabbar Qureshi, Dr Ismael Moosa, Dr. Abdul Malik and Dr. Ghazala Shaheen.

The meeting was attended among others by Prof. Ziauddin Mehmood, Prof. Dr. Suleman D. Muhammad, Prof. Muhammad Saeed, Prof. Seema Naz Siddiqui and Registrar Prof. Dr. Qamrulhaque.

The members also approved the penal of names for senate which would be send to Chancellor of the University President Asif Ali Zardari for final approval after getting it passed from the senate. (PPI)
