HYDERABAD: Pakistan Workers Federation, Sindh chapter, and the employees of Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) took out a joint rally here on Tuesday to protest against the non-payment of 4 months salary to the workers of Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA).

The rally, which was led by the federation's president Abdul Latif Nizamani, started from WAPDA Labour Hall and ended outside the press club.

The employees of WAPDA also participated to express solidarity with the WASA workers.

WAPDA Hydro Central Labour Union's general secretary Iqbal Qaimkhani, president HDA Workers' Union Raja Palari and other labour leaders addressed the rally.

The labour leaders also demanded raising the minimum wage of the WASA workers to Rs 7,000.
