RIYADH: Torential rains have been lashing parts of Saudi Arabia since Monday night without a letup, Geo News reported.
The rain was mixed between heavy and medium in Riyadh and its provinces, as well as Al-Qassim and the Eastern Province (Al-Sharqia).
In the city of Riyadh, the heavy rains forced a large number of citizens to stay home.
The Kingdom's Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) issued a warning yesterday confirming heavy rain to those areas, which made the Ministry of Education Tuesday to suspend classes in all schools.
