PESHAWAR: Capital City Police claimed to have arrested 21 outlaws, including nine proclaimed offenders (POs) in a series of crackdown operations and seized arms from their possessions, police said on Wednesday.
According to details a campaign against anti-social elements was launched under the supervision of SP Rural Abdul Kalam in various areas of Nasir Bagh, Chamkai, Daudzaia and Urmur.
During the successful campaign, police arrested 21 outlaws including nine POs, wanted to police for their complicity in different crimes of serious nature.
Police also seized three rifles, four pistols, 213 cartridges and 1.5 kg hashish from their hideouts.
