Demo against NATO strikes held in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD: Members of Defence of Human Rights Pakistan (DHR) Thursday held a protest demonstration outside Parliament House to condemned NATO raid on Pakistani checkpost in Mohmand Agency in which 25 soldiers embraced were martyred.

Former ISI chief Lt.Gen (R) Hameed Gul also took part in the protest. Holding placards, protesters shouting slogans against US and NATO. The percipients of the protest condemned the Nato incursion and demanded of the government to adopt tit-for-tat policy towards US and allied forces. They also urged the government and armed forces to ensure the security and sovereignty of the country.

Speaking at the occasion, Hameed Gul said United States always violated the sovereignty of Pakistan and hurt the national interest to gain its (US) strategic and regional interests.

He declared US an enemy of Pakistan and added our rulers have mortgaged the country for their personal interests.

Hameed Gul said that we support government stance on NATO supply ban and boycott of Bonn conference but called the government to show its determination on its decisions.

Chairperson DHR, Amina Masood Janjua said it is clear cut violation of international law as NATO showed its barbarism and overstepped from its mandate.

She said that government should be review Pak-America relations and to revise its independent foreign policy according to wishes of Pakistani people.
