JI protest against NATO strike

FAISALABAD: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) here on Friday staged protest demonstrations against the NATO air strike in Mohmand Agency.

JI activists staged peaceful protest after Juma prayers outside mosques. A large number of people from different segments of society also participated in the protest.

They were carrying banners, placards and posters inscribed with slogans against NATO aggression.

Addressing the participants, JI district Ameer Engineer Azeem Randhawa lauded steps taken by government. He also urged the government to implement its decisions strictly and vacate all airbases being used by US forces and said the NATO supply line should be permanently blocked.
