Governor directs Administrator to ensure payment of salaries

KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan, has directed the Administrator Karachi to ensure that all the employees are paid salaries on time.

He was chairing a meeting held at the Governor House here, said a statement on Sunday, which considered the matters pertaining to the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).

The Governor said that for this the record of the employees should be maintained in a precise and transparent manner.

The statement said that he expressed concern over the information pertaining to the reported presence of 1,400 `fake employees' and directed that the record of the employees should be computerised and foolproof arrangements be made to keep it transparent. (APP)
