It is official now. American actress Scarlett Johansson is playing Natasha Romanoff for the last time in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe outing - Black Widow.

The 36-year-old actress, in her interview with Total Film, said she feels sad to be saying goodbye to the MCU. However, she said she would remain in touch with the Marvel family who she worked with for a long time.

“It’s definitely bittersweet because I love my Marvel family,” Scarlett Johansson said.

“I’m never going to be ready to not be a part of it. They’ll always be family. I’ll never feel ready to not be in it because I hate to feel like I’m missing out on stuff with them."

The character of Natasha Romanoff is darling to the movie lovers. That is why they were excited when the MCU announced Black Widow in 2017. With the character shown being killed in Infinity War, the new Black Widow movie appeared to be standalone for Natasha Romanoff.

Scarlett Johansson went on to say that she would not turn down any chance to work with the Marvel family in the future.

“Who knows? Maybe at some point, we’ll have some opportunity to collaborate in some other kind of way,” she said.

Scarlett Johansson-starrer Black Widow will make a debut in theatres and on Disney+ through Premier Access on July 9, 2021.
