4,000 bags of counterfeit fertilizer seized

MULTAN: Makhdoom Rasheed police have seized 4,000 bags of substandard fertilizers from a factory in Kot Rabnawaz on Tuesday night.

EDO Agriculture, Sardar Akbar told APP that working on a tip-off, agriculture department officials along with Makhdoom Rasheed police raided a factory in Kot Rabnawaz and recovered substandard fertilizers.

The police have arrested an accused Adeel from the factory while his partner Sultan managed to escape from the scene.

The agriculture department has collected samples of fertilizer from the factory for laboratory analysis.

A case has been registered against the accused. (APP)
