PEEF scholarship awarded to students

RAWALPINDI: Prosperity of any nation is not possible without promoting education and research and the youths are guarantee of the bright future of country.

This was stated by Senator Najma Hameed and Member of National Assembly (MNA) Shakeel Awan while addressing at the cheques distribution ceremony of the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) scholarships at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR) here on Wednesday.


They said that all possible resources were being provided to the students for equipping them with modern knowledge.

Shakeel Awan said that PEEF was an initiative of the Punjab government, under which talented students especially facing financial problems were able to get education.

Najma Hameed said that the objective of government was to bring brilliant but needy students to the best academic institutions and help them realize their potential and fulfill their dreams.

The PEEF endeavours to bring best educational opportunities to the less privileged and talented youth of Punjab in order to bring them at par with the more fortunate ones. (APP)
