PESHAWAR: Capital City Police claimed to have arrested 13 outlaws including three proclaimed offenders and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession during snap checking and raids on suspected places in rural areas of the district.
SSP Rural, Abdul Kalam Khan informed that during a raid Badhber police recovered 5,052 cartridges and arrested two accused while Mathra and Matani police arrested two proclaimed offenders and recovered two pistols and a rifle from them.
Rural police during actions also recovered 5kg hashish and arrested three involved accused.
Abdul Kalam said that police action against anti-social elements would continue till their total elimination and in this connection circle DSPs and SHOs of rural police stations have been ordered for taking strict actions in their respective areas against criminals.
