Haqqani denies receiving comm summon

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s former ambassador to US Husain Haqqani denied receiving any notice to appear before the three-member judicial commission formed to probe memogate scandal, Geo News reported Monday.

Haqqani said that he will appear before the commission as soon as he will receive the summon.

It is pertinent to mention that that Haqqani was absent from today’s open hearing held at Islamabad High Court (IHC) under the chairmanship of Balochistan High Court’s (BHC) Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa.

When asked about his absence, Attorney General told the commission that Haqqani was informed through Interior Secretary.
