LAHORE: Punjab is gripped by thick fog for the past many days that has severely affected air and road traffic. On Saturday, a plane carrying Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif could not land on time at Lahore Airport due to fog.
The plane carrying CM Punjab along with his delegation was coming from Turkey via Dubai and remained in the air for 30 minutes before its final landing. The cause of the delay was dense fog that is affecting domestic and international flights.
On the other hand, road traffic was also affected on the motorway due to fog. According to motorway police, the Faisalabad to Pindi Bhattian Interchange is under the grip of thick fog that is why motorists were instructed to drive slowly and to use reflectors.
Multan GT road is also affected by fog from Lahore to Khanewal.
