Fog-related accidents claim 3 lives in Punjab

LAHORE: Fog has covered many parts of the Punjab province including Lahore and has disturbed life to a greater extent. Three school-going children lost their lives in a road accident while going to school in Tehsil Pattoki of Kasur on Saturday, Geo News reported.

According to sources, three children of the same family were on their way to school when a truck hit the motorcycle. As a result, 15-year-old Bashir, 10-year-old Javed and 8-year –old Aisha lost their lives on the spot.

Fog has disrupted air and road traffic since many days while rain on Friday increased cold in Lahore.

GT Road and Faisalabad to Pindi Bhattian Interchange are still covered by thick fog while several domestic and international flights are also delayed.
