Snowfall in upper parts of the country drops mercury level

ISLAMABAD: Snowfall in upper parts of the country has dropped mercury level besides disconnecting road links with other areas, Geo News reported.

In Nathiya Gali and other parts of Abbottabad, snowfall continued for third consecutive day.

In Murree, road links have been closed for all kind of traffic due to continued snowfall that started Friday night.

Intermittent snowfall is also continuing in upper areas of Skardu for the last five days.

Hazara division, Batgram, Naran, Swat, upper and lower Orakzai, Bonir, Shangla, Malakand Agency are receiving sporadic rains besides snowfall in the upper areas.

In city areas of Kotli, Azad Kashmir snowfall after 40 years turned the weather pleasant.

Routine life has been badly affected due to hike in fuel prices and suspension of traffic on many roads the affected areas.
