One killed, 4 others injured in road accident

FAISALABAD: A motorcyclist was killed and four others injured in different incidents here on Monday.

According to rescue sources, Muhammad Akram of TehsilBhawana was riding a motorbike (FDZ-7726) near Narrwala banglow when he fell onto the road after his two-wheeler skidded off. As a result a tractor trolley coming from behind crushed him under its wheels and he died on the spot.

In another incident, Muhammad Asif (29) of Sanatpura was injured when he resisted the robbers in the limits of Jhang bazaar police station.

Unknown persons shot at and injured Samina d/o Sidique of Shalimar Town, Warispura and fled. She was admitted to DHQhospital.

Meanwhile, two persons Rehan (13) and Imran sustained burn injuries when a gas cylinder exploded at Hammyun Nagar on Jarranwala road. The victims were shifted to Allied hospital. (APP)
