ISLAMABAD: Bhara Kahu police have arrested a woman over the charges of killing her husband along with her sister after developing the differences with him, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
According to details, Waseem had differences with his wife Uzma Saeed as she had demanded divorce from him. Both of them did not reside together and Waseem often used to come to meet his two daughters and one son at a house in Barakahu police station area.
On December 30, Waseem came to his children late night for giving them expenses of medicines and stayed at a room in the house. On the next day, police was informed by his brother Muhammad Ismail s/o Mubarak Ahmed that Waseem was found dead there with gash marks on his body.
Bhara Kau police registered the case no. 375/11 under section 302 PPC and started the investigation into case. SP (City) Muhammad Ilyas asked ASP (UT) Yasir Afridi for speedy investigation into case and arrest the perpetrator of this heinous crime.
Under his supervision, a special team including SHO Bhara Kahu police station Inspector Mehboob Ahmed, Sub-Inspector Javed Iqbal and others investigated into the case keeping in view various aspects. This team succeeded to arrest the wife of deceased, Uzma Saeed and his sister in-law Fozia Saeed who confessed to axe Waseem to death during his stay at home.
After preliminary investigation, police also recovered axes and daggers used as murder tools hidden in mattresses. Mobile phone of the deceased was also recovered which was concealed in a shoe kept in almirah.
The assassins revealed before police for committing this heinous crime because they doubted that Waseem was planning to kill them.
