Petition in IHC for case against Ijaz

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party leader Raja Khalid has filed a petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) for registering of a case against the US national of Pakistan origin, Mansoor Ijaz, Geo News reported Saturday.

Raja Khalid had earlier submitted an application with Additional Sessions Judge which was rejected by the latter.

Now the PPP leader has filed the petition with IHC, requesting it to declare the decision of the Session Judge void and order the police to file a case against Mansoor Ijaz.

In the petition, charges have been leveled against Mansoor Ijaz for instigating people for a revolt and maligning intelligence agencies.
