Levis officials said that unidentified men had planted explosives along the 16 inch gas pipeline supplying gas to plant from well no 15 and 17.
They detonated it with remote control disrupting the gas supply to the purification plant.
Soon after the incident, law enforcement agencies' personnel reached the site and cordoned around the entire area.
Repair work has been initiated.
