55 proclaimed offenders arrested

FAISALABAD: The police claimed to have arrested 55 proclaimed offenders from various parts of the district during last 24 hours.

The police recovered stolen property worth millions of rupees, illicit weapons and other articles from their possession, a spokesman of the police department told here on Monday.

Giving details, he said that Lyallpur Division police nabbed 6 proclaimed offenders while Iqbal Division police arrested 14 POs.

Similarly, Madina Division police nabbed 18 proclaimed offenders whereas Jaranwala Division police arrested 6 POs.

He further told that Sadar Faisalabad Division police arrested 11 proclaimed offenders while Nishatabad police nabbed 4 POs and Factory Area police arrested 3 POs. (APP)
