Dacoits gang busted

ISLAMABAD, Feb 10 (APP): Islamabad Police have busted gang of dacoits and arrested five other accused besides recovering two pistols, one carbine, 46 wine bottles, a police spokesman said on Friday.

According to details, ASI Ali Muhammad from Golra police station nabbed three dacoits Mujahid Abbas, Tasawar Abbas, Safdar Abbas and recovered one pistol and two knives from them. Two of their accomplices managed to escape and their search is underway.

SI Shafqat Mehmood from Sabzi Mandi police station recovered one 30 bore pistol from a culprit Sultan Zeb while Muhammad Azam of CIA police recovered 43 bottles of wine from Dilawar Masih.

Sub-Inspector Shah Nazir from Nilore police station recovered a twelve bore carbine from an accused Nadeem Shehzad. ASI Nadeem Mughal of Kohsar police recovered three bottles of wine from Amjad Masih while Tarnol police recovered one kilogram opium from a lady drug pusher Zarine bibi.

Cases have been registered against these accused under relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
