APC on Balochistan on Feb 27: Munawar
ISLAMABAD: Amir Jamat-e-Islami Syed Munawar Hassan on Monday said an All Parties Conference (APC) would be convened on February 27 in Quetta to assure Baloch people that the entire nation stood with them, Geo News reported.

Addressing a sit in demonstration staged by Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) in Islamabad, Hassan maintained that the government made flawed policies for Balochistan and accused it (government) of subjecting the province's people of persecution.

He alleged that military operations in Swat, Buner and Waziristan were being carried out on American wish. "The guns of our military jawans are also pointed towards us," he added.

The JI Amir accused Awami National Party of taking dollars and the Punjab government of keeping mum.

He lamented that the Defence Minister had never protested against the drone attacks being carried out inside Pakistan.
