PESHAWAR: The cold winds and light rain have turned the weather chilly in provincial capital, forcing people to wear warm clothes.
The cold winds will continue to hit Peshawar and other plain areas and hopefully will end before Thursday.
The snowfall on the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan and Hazara valley is one of the reasons of the cold winds that had gripped the Peshawar valley and adjoining areas for the last few days.
A persistent and biting cold wave is also gripping different regions Khyber Pakthunkhwa compelling people to migrate from mountainous areas to plain locations. The mercury has also dipped down in Peshawar and adjoining areas due to clod winds and light rain. (APP)
