ISLAMABAD: The Memo Commission has instructed Mansoor Ijaz to help Zahid Bukhari if he wanted to cross-examine him and said matter of forensic examination of evidences at the moment is premature, Geo News reported.
Zahid Bukhari applied yesterday for forensic examination of the evidence provided by Mansoor Ijaz to the commission and his cross-examination in London.
The commission also took notice of airing footage of proceedings and warned of action if it is repeated.
The testimony of central figure in memogate scandal Mansoor Ijaz is underway at Pakistan's High Commission in London.
Secretary Memo Commission Raja Jawad Abbas and Lawyer of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Rashid A Rizvi are in London while Husain Haqqani's counsel Zahid Bukhari and Mansoor Ijaz's lawyer Akram Sheikh are in Pakistan.
The judicial commission is chaired by Chief Justice Baluchistan High Court, Qazi Faiz Isa, while other two members are Chief Justice Sindh High Court, Musheer Alam and Chief Justice Islamabad High Court, Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman.

During yesterday's proceedings Ijaz said, Pakistan's former ambassador to the United States Husain Haqqani appeared to be agitated and nervous and spoke rapidly at the start of his conversation with me on May 09, 2011.
Haqqani asked me if I could convey a message, through the US authorities, to Gen Kayani to stand down. In return, the Pakistan government would allow American boots on its soil, Ijaz also said, while appearing before the commission for the first time.
