10 suspects arrested

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 10 suspects, five outlaws and five proclaimed offenders from various areas of the city and recovered three pistols, hashish as well as looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday.

According to details, Tarnol police nabbed Riaz Khan, Adnan and recovered two 30 bore pistols from their possession. Secretariat police recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Sohail Meumud while Shehzad town police nabbed a thief Imran besides recovering stolen items from him. Koral police nabbed a drug peddler Kausar Mehmud for having 225 gram hashish.

During search operation in the areas of Tarnol and Shehzad town police station, 10 suspects were arrested by special police teams.

Meanwhile, five proclaimed offenders wanted to police for their alleged involvement in crime cases of heinous nature were also arrested. CIA police arrested two proclaimed offenders while Industrial area, Kohsar and Bhara Kau police station nabbed one proclaimed offender each. (APP)
